It's shocking to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't feel about their community, they don't get involved in programs, and they just seem indifferent. It's like they've lost sight of here what it means to be part of a team and cheer for their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is harmful to the entire school culture.
This Hat Isn't Right
Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is too big. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes match your needs.

My School Is Different
When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my time there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I found my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.
